I am the PI for an NIA project on health and economic status in India and South Africa. The South African component, which is being run by Anne Case here at Princeton, has a substantial component looking at the consequences for the elderly of living with AIDS. The work is partly concerned with orphans, partly looking at HIV status among the elderly themselves, and with HAART rollout.
